2017 SRAPPA Golf Tournament
The Southeastern Region Association of Physical Plant Administrators (SRAPPA) invites you to play in the 2017 Conference Golf Tournament at Olde Sycamore Golf Plantation. on October 25, 2017 in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Olde Sycamore Golf Plantation
Olde Sycamore Golf Plantation is a golfing pleasure nestled among a mature forest of hardwoods. This semi-private course opened in May of 1997 and was recognized as the “Best New Course” and “Best Eastside Course” in the Queen City by Charlotte’s Best Magazine.
Carolina’s noted Hall of Fame architect Tom Jackson, who has built many high-profile courses in the Carolinas, routed Olde Sycamore through majestic Carolina tall pines… ideal for golf. Fairways are hybrid Bermuda and the undulating bent grass greens are among the best in the Charlotte region. A nice touch at Olde Sycamore is the use of zoysia grass around the bunkers, allowing for greater definition around each green. Such a combination creates the best condition and challenges of a premiere course. All skill levels and ages can enjoy the beauty of Olde Sycamore.

Format: 4-Person Team Scramble (Captain’s Choice). Please request a playing partner when registering online, if desired. We will try to include them in your foursome.
Scramble: All team members tee off on each hole and then decide which tee shot they like the best and mark the spot with a tee or ball marker. The other players pick up his/her ball and place it within one club length (no closer to the hole) of the marked spot. All players hit their shot from the chosen spot. This procedure is followed on every shot for the remainder of the hole. If you have not holed out after your par putt, pick up your ball and record a score of bogey.
Mulligans: Up to two per player can be purchased for $5 each. Each mulligan entitles the golfer who purchased it to one “do over” shot.
Putting Green: Putts need to be taken from within 3 inches of the marked spot (no closer to the hole). The first ball to go in the hole is counted for the team score.
Lie: If the ball you choose to play is in a hazard (sand, water, etc.) or in the rough, you cannot drop the ball outside of the hazard or rough even if relief is within one club length.
Ready Golf: Please play “ready golf.” No practice putts after the hole. If a group falls behind more than ½ a hole, a warning will be issued. If a group falls behind a full hole, they will be moved forward and assessed a double bogey penalty.
Tie Breaker: In the event that multiple teams tie for the winning score, the tiebreaker system will be the better score on the lowest handicap hole. This will continue until one team is found to have a lower score on a hole.
Awards & Raffle Drawings: Awards and drawing will be presented immediately following the tournament along with a light reception (finger foods & drinks). Must be present to win.
Mulligans, Raffle, & Golf Gun:
Mulligans: $5 each per player. Up to two mulligans per player.

Golf Gun: Charity Golf Guns will be on the course with their modified AR-15 assault rifle providing golfers with the opportunity to use it instead of your drive. $5 will allow you to use the gun with your ball.
Most drawings will take place while golfers are out on course. Check prize posters when you return to see if you have won.
